Breakaway Farms is a local business. Boutique style barn that is Family owned and Family run.  

We aim to provide elite instruction to those who share our love of horses.  A program that develops the first time rider or the greenest horse into a well rounded Horseman and accomplished mount that can go on to conquer any endeavor.  

Ashlin Bowen, Owner/Head Trainer

Is from Reno, NV and started Breakaway Farms as a young professional in the industry.  A graduate of the UNR Business School, Board Member of our local Sierra Nevada Horse Show Association, as well as a Coach for the UNR Equestrian Team.  Throughout Ashlin's career she has bred, started, and developed horses through to the Grand Prix Jumpers and International Hunter Derby levels.  

Hayley Bowen, Owner/Trainer

Hayley and Ashlin have grown up with a shared love of horses.  This sister duo complements itself in every way.  Hayley's keen eye for detail, and smooth classic style made her an accomplished Junior and Amateur rider, and that style has carried her effortlessly into a successful career as a professional.  Alumni of the UNR Business School and Board Member of our local Sierra Nevada Horse Show Association.
